This term my class has been doing a lot of fun stuff like our Matariki art it was really fun. Some people from Ruma Kereru helped with some of the hair and the face and some of the stars. I did a few stars it was fun but kind of tricky. We took a photo with the Matariki art with all of the people that helped with the Matariki picture. We worked on Matariki baskets to test if our sausages could balance on we had to practice quickly because it was almost the end of the day. My favorite part about the basket was making the floor It was kind of relaxing.
For almost the whole term I've been doing lego group with Chris. It's when we went into a group of 3 people. We were given a card and we could be a supplier an engineer or a builder. If you were a builder you had to listen for instructions on where to put the shapes, if you were a supplier you had to find the shapes and give the right shapes to the builder. If you were an engineer you had to describe where the shapes go. We would sometimes get free time
You had a very busy term Shae. What activity did you find most enjoyable and why? I was very impressed with the way the star turned out. Did you seen it around town? I hope they put them out again for Matariki next year.
